Same Day Results in Addison TX!

COVID PCR Testing

Feeling sluggish, have the dreaded cough, or running a fever?

Don't wait, get tested for COVID on-site and find out your results within 24 to 72 hours!

PCR works by extracting and amplifying genetic material from the novel coronavirus. PCR testing is much more sensitive when compared to rapid antigen testing.

This means PCR tests can detect very tiny amounts of virus so they have a high likelihood of detecting COVID-19 and not providing a false negative.

False-negative tests can be potentially dangerous because the patient might actually still be infectious, but not socially distance themselves after they receive a

negative result, thereby infecting others.

Antigen Testing

Antigen testing looks for the absence or presence of a certain antigen in the body.

We are able to help you get the answers if you've had a certain virus like COVID-19 in as little as 24 hours.

UTI Testing

UTIs can wreak havoc on the body. If you're experiencing discomfort, confusion, painful urination, or frequent urination, schedule your test to find out if you have a UTI.

Molecular UTI detects slow-growing, difficult-to-cultivate microorganisms, making it ideal for when culture methods

are inadequate, ambiguous, time-consuming, difficult, and costly.

PCR/UTI detection identifies more bacteria and fastidious bacteria than traditional urine cultures. We are proud to offer the following molecular testing services for urinary tract pathogen detection:

  • Acinetobacter baumannii Bacterial
  • Citrobacter freundii
  • Enterobacter aerogense
  • Enterobacter cloacae
  • Enterococcus faecalis
  • Enterococcus faecium
  • Escherichia coli
  • Klebsiella oxytoca
  • Klebsiella pneumoniae
  • Morganella Morganii
  • Proteus mirabilis
  • Proteus vulgaris
  • Providencia stuarti
  • Psedomonas aeruginosa
  • Staphylococcus saprophyticus
  • Streptococcus agalactiae
  • Candida albicans

STI Testing

If you are sexually active, it is important to find out if you have contracted an STI.

If you are feeling discomfort, itching, or pain, it is imperative that you book your appointment to help you find relief!

Toxicology

Routine drug monitoring has become standard of care when treating chronic pain patients. Ensuring accuracy and reliability in cases where testing is deemed medically necessary is paramount to the continued fight against opioid dependence. Linear Care’s testing delivers a patient centric approach to medication and sobriety monitoring through LC-MS/MS confirmation. Testing features include:

  • Patient adherence to medication regime
  • Identification of illicit or prescription drugs
  • 24-48 hour turnaround time
  • Oral swab collection
  • Simplified, easy to read reports
  • Expert collaboration
  • Extended Pain Panels
  • Streamlined results

UroVysion FISH Testing

UroVysion, the advanced molecular diagnostics generation of bladder cancer detection, aids – in conjunction with and not in lieu of standard diagnostics procedures – in the diagnosis of bladder cancer in patients with hematuria, and also in subsequent monitoring of tumor recurrence in patients previously diagnosed with bladder cancer.

  • UroVysion sensitivity is better than sensitivity of Cytology for all stages and grades of bladder cancer.
  • Offers the best available combination of sensitivity and specificity.
  • Detects bladder cancer recurrence up to 6 months earlier.

UroVysion uses four DNA probes, each labeled with a different color fluorescent tag, which binds to specific gene sequences on human chromosomes. These probes reveal genetic abnormalities that may be associated with cancer.

PGx Testing

PGx Testing analyzes gene variants that affect drug absorption, metabolism, and activity, thereby influencing how a person may respond to specific medications.

PGx Testing results can:

  • Help maximize drug efficacy
  • Minimize adverse drug reactions/events
  • Reduce the need for trial-and-error treatment planning

PGx Testing can help to ensure that the right drug at the right dose is given to the right patient at the right time!

More Services

We also offer unique testing that you won't find many places!

Wound Testing

Our wound pathogen assay utilizes the latest in quantitative RT-PCR (real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) technology to rapidly and reliably analyze your patient’s sample.

PCR provides the greatest sensitivity and specificity with the ability to rapidly detect and differentiate 98-99% of the most common aerobic, anaerobic, and facultative bacteria, viral and fungal targets, and polymicrobial infections.

Nail Fungal Testing

Our molecular genetic test helps clinicians identify the fungal pathogens found in nail tissue enabling doctors to begin targeted therapy within days.

Our assay can accurately identify the genetic material of pathologic fungi with a turnaround time of one week. Traditional cultures often take up to four weeks before getting results. Our test is performed using the patient’s nail clippings, and multiple pathogens can be detected in one test.

RSV Testing

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a common and contagious viral respiratory infection.

RSV testing detects the presence of Respiratory Syncytial Virus in the nose to help diagnose the infection.
